This year, Pumpkin Masters® would like to help bring some attention to Camp Sunshine and their purpose. Camp Sunshine is a year-round retreat, which provides respite, support, joy and hope to children with life-threatening illnesses and to their immediate families through various stages of a child's illness. The program is free of charge to all families, and includes a 24-hour onsite medical and psychosocial support. Bereavement groups are also offered for families who have lost a child to an illness. To help raise money, Camp Sunshine has Pumpkin Festivals throughout the northeast. This year's Pumpkin Festivals are in Portland, Maine, Boston, Massachusetts, and Central Park, New York. These events promise to be exciting with live music, face painting, children's activities, great food, and of course - pumpkin carving! Be sure to make this annual event a tradition for your family and friends. And don't forget, all proceeds from the event will benefit Camp Sunshine!
