Fried Pumpkin Squares

Ingredients

2 C.Italian bread crumbs
1/2 C.Grated cheese (prefably Pec-romano)
1 T.Garlic powder
2 Eggs
1 Medium emptied Pumpkin
1 C. Canola or peanut oil
10 inch frying pan

Directions

1. Cut up pumpkin into 1 in. squares (no skin)
2. Mix first 3 ingredients in a bowl. Mix eggs in another bowl.
3. Dip pumpkin in eggs then in crumb mixture.
4. Check Oil for readiness. Fry in oil til golden brown.
5. Pop in fancy tooth picks.
